All of our team are DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Service) and complete safeguarding courses annually, they also complete Paediatric First Aid Courses every 3 years. Staff already have recognised childcare qualifications or are working towards one.

We have approximately 37 staff working with the children at any one time, we do not use agency, temporary or voluntary staff. Our team undertake varied and regular training along with regular supervision reviews and annual appraisals.

The Senior Management Team

Ann remains the driving force of KidCo and is in regular contact with her senior management team.

Fondly known as ‘Grannie Annie’ by the children they love her visits especially as they usually come with the treat of a shed full of new toys or bikes.

Sometimes even a new and exciting project like a new playhouse or even a classroom make over!

Lisa is Ann’s daughter..! And joined the team back in 1999 as HR and Training Manager and then went on to become increasingly involved in all areas of the business, including lead Senco. She is now the General Manager at KidCo. 

She is a passionate and positive leader and values the special roles that their team play in the lives of the children at the nursery. They all work extremely hard to deliver the best possible start for all the children and could not be prouder of their achievements over the years.

Heather began her KidCo journey back in 2000 and over the years achieved Senior Manager status responsible for all children under 3.

She has a wealth of childcare knowledge, and after 15 years working with the children, took a change of role to Senior Office Manager looking after the needs of staff and families, she will likely be the first person you get to speak with. She is organised, diligent and nothing is too much trouble.

Rebecca began her KidCo journey as an apprentice with us back in 2014, she gained experience and knowledge through her training and mentoring with the team and gained her Level 3 qualification. After rising through the ranks, she has been managing our Nursery Unit since 2018. She is passionate about her work with our 0-3 years olds and the fun and enjoyment she can bring to their curious and active imaginations. The children’s development is supported by Rebecca’s love for this age and will guide you through a wonderful time in your child’s early years being on hand with advice for toilet training, feeding, social interactions and communication skills.

Kate holds a BA Honours in Early Childhood Education and joined us in 2012. She is our Senior Manager in Pre-School and also our Deputy Senco. She uses her skills to support all of our children and to help each individual reach their full potential.
Kate enjoys the great outdoors and sharing her enthusiasm with the children for natural learning. We love exploring in all weathers and muddy puddles are always the most fun along with mud slides, searching for minibeasts and acting out the story of the ‘Bear Hunt’.

Jo is Level 3 qualified and began her KidCo journey in 2008. Since then she has progressed to the Senior Manager role for children aged 3+ years working in Pre-School and is our dedicated Lead Senco. She has many years of knowledge, experience and advice which benefits every child and their family.
Jo makes learning fun, challenging and exhilarating whilst preparing your child with the key skills and independence they need for the future.
We work closely with schools in Surrey and West Sussex, making sure that you child’s transition from us to them is smooth and seamless.

Tracy is our Catering Manager and has been running our kitchen since 2007. We are very lucky to have delicious homemade meals prepared on the premisses which enables us to cater for special dietary requirements. Tracy is passionate about producing a varied, healthy, and balanced menu which our children love. She holds qualifications in food hygiene, nutrition, and food allergy awareness.

Our kitchen consistently maintains a 5* food standards hygiene rating.
